“Un’Estate daRe” served as a summer social media campaign to capture the attention (and stomachs) of local Romans to try one of the best gelatierie in the city. A play on words, the campaign could be taken to mean “A Kingly Summer,” or perhaps a “Summer brought to you by Re,” the shorthand version of Renato, who along with his wife Veruska, own the small gelato shop in northern Rome. Images of the fashionable you, representing the local community of the neighborhood, enticed locals to choose Gelateria daRe for a moment of escape, savoring unique, fresh flavors made in the on-site kitchen.
