How and why we collect personal data
Most of the “personal data” we collect is freely given to us by you! We use newsletter subscriptions and contact forms to make getting in touch with us even easier. So when you provide us with your name, email, or phone, this information is kept in a log on our website, so we have a record of your request. This information is available to you if you’d like to see it, edit it, or delete it. Just drop us a line here. (note: there is a fee for this service).
Additionally we’ll be launching our online store pretty soon (read more about that in our past blog post here) where you’ll be able to create an account on our website. You’ll have full access to your information to edit and delete if you desire. It’s not available yet, but we figured we might as well let you know what’s coming up anyway.
Finally, we do use some third party cookies that share your browsing tendencies with other websites. This doesn’t mean by any means your personal data is being shared with anyone (we definitely aren’t into that!), but in an effort to personalize your browsing experience, ad services will use your navigation history to show you more interesting ads and information.
Here’s more information specifically about the cookies we use and what they’re for.
